What is the role on offer?
The role is for a self-motivated and qualified maintenance plumber who is willing to complete both residential and commercial as well as some small project plumbing work.
You must be able to work an on-call roster every 6 – 7 weeks, although there can definitely be some flexibility with this for the right applicant.
The average working week applicants can expect is around 40 – 45 hours.
What duties are involved in the role?
Some of the tasks you would be expect to inform as part of the Salmon Plumbing team include:
- Performing plumbing maintenance at client’s properties
- Ordering, accounting for and charging out materials and equipment
- Preparing reports of work performed on site
- Assessing and finding solutions on-site
- Working unsupervised
- Preparing and presenting on-site quotations for service

What do YOU need to be successful in this role?
The main skills and experience that we need to see for applicants to progress are:
- Queensland plumbers license
- Current driver’s license
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Customer-service focus
Any additional licensing, such as gas, restricted electrical, TMV backflow or others, is also welcome, and will be highly regarded!
